Teaming up with four amazing Belgian organizations
Written by Marte Greefs (Co-founder & Sea-EO at Go Ocean)
We are teaming up with four other Belgian impact organizations. Why? Because you cannot take systemic climate and biodiversity action alone, especially not in the ocean. Real impact only happens through collaboration. And these new partners and Go Ocean are 100% complementary. With these partners, we can accommodate your sustainability and/or communication needs better and support you from A to Z.
Nature proof by Naturise & Go Ocean
The science is clear: our economies and businesses rely on nature. Protecting and restoring ecosystems is not only an environmental necessity – it is an economic priority.
The new Business and Biodiversity Assessment by the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) finds that every business depends on biodiversity, and every business impacts it. The assessment highlights the central role of businesses, investors, and financial institutions in closing the global nature finance gap.
We see that companies increasingly want to act for nature and biodiversity, yet often lack the clarity to start.
That’s where Naturise and Go Ocean’s combined strengths come in. We quantify your relationship with nature and help you act upon it in our newest service offering called “Nature proof by Naturise & Go Ocean”.

Greentripper program for travellers
There are not many other things that are more interlinked than travel destinations and healthy, vibrant ocean environments, right? That’s why for all travel-related businesses and organisations, we’ve developed a special program together with Greentripper.
In a nutshell? Greentripper maps your CO₂e footprint, covering not only flights, but also other modes of transport, accommodation, activities, and more. Go Ocean connects tangible ocean ecosystem restoration — which also captures CO₂e — to your brand clearly and credibly.
We support both your sustainability and communication goals through an accessible and concrete approach.
Our eyes underwater: Stokedhouse
Recent studies and global surveys indicate that while there is high general concern for the environment, ocean literacy (understanding the ocean’s influence on humans and vice versa) remains low, particularly among younger generations.
That’s why we think it’s essential to provide you with eyes under water, via Stokedhouse. In the coming months, prepare for a deep dive into the giant body of water covering 70% of the Earth’s surface, and reaching 4,000m in depth on average.
Can’t wait for the videos? Take a little snorkel trip on some of our website pages, which are already showing original Stokedhouse content.

Positive climate action with Tapio
Many of you already know Tapio. For those who don’t: Tapio provides the software and expertise companies need to understand, reduce, and manage their carbon footprint.
Although the ocean is our most important ally in removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, with massive co-benefits in terms of biodiversity recovery and economic resilience, ocean-based solutions are still underrepresented in most climate strategies and tools. Ocean action is not your average climate solution, yet.
By working together, we want to make ocean restoration a credible, transparent, and complementary solution within your broader climate journey: 📏 measure and reduce emissions with Tapio and 🌊 support high-integrity ocean restoration with Go Ocean.

Restoration priorities in the North Sea
The Belgian North Sea hosts over 2,000 species thanks to its rich ecological diversity. However, it faces serious threats, making active restoration essential.
