A sustainable alternative to traditional cleaners
At Greenspeed, they don’t believe in harsh and harmful chemicals, but in the power of nature. Among the things they offer are the Probio Tabs, which are probiotic cleaners in tablet form.
The tabs do more than just clean, they are a sustainable alternative to traditional cleaners and they help to reduce the negative impact on coral reefs and the broader marine ecosystem:
- Reduction of plastic pollution: by dissolving the Probio Tab in a reusable bottle, you create a ready-to-use cleaning spray, eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles that can contribute to ocean pollution and microplastics.
- Lower CO₂ emissions: the tabs reduce CO₂ emissions during transport by eliminating the need to ship water.
- Probiotic cleaning: if the tabs enter waterways, they promote healthy water flora, as they contain the same beneficial bacteria used in water purification.
The restorative role of Greenspeed
The sustainability vision of Greenspeed does not end with doing things less bad. They consciously contribute to restoring coral reefs with Go Ocean, as they want to have a restorative role as well.
Greenspeed has chosen to donate 2% of the turnover from the Probio Tabs and other new developments in tablet form directly to Go Ocean and coral reef restoration. Every quarter, new coral spiders are supported, and continues support for the health of the ocean is ensured.
